A name etched in the history of the land

Domaine de la Huguenoterie owes its name to the Huguenots who gathered on these grounds centuries ago. Today, the estate continues to serve as a place for people to come together, whether for weddings, seminars, or nature retreats.

Houses named for the orchard's bounty

The estate’s four houses are each named after a fruit found in Norman orchards: Maison des Agrumes, Maison des Prunelles, Maison des Pommiers, and Maison des Cerisiers. These names pay tribute to the fruit trees that surround the estate and provide a fresh harvest each season.

Spaces designed around the harvest

This theme continues throughout our event spaces. The Salle Mirabelle is perfect for meals and meetings. The spacious, renovated Grange des Récoltes serves as a venue for larger groups. The Grande Cabane and the Halle des Récoltes, which functions as an open-air pavilion, round out our offerings for informal gatherings or outdoor activities.

Three ceremony settings

For wedding ceremonies, we offer three outdoor spaces: the Cour des Cueilleurs, the Clos du Verger, and the Cour du Pressoir. These names reflect the traditional work of the orchard—harvesting, tending the trees, and pressing the fruit—providing a beautiful, open-air setting surrounded by the Norman landscape.

A place for gathering, then and now

This connection between the estate’s past and its present purpose sets La Huguenoterie apart within the Domaines & Événements collection. The property remains true to its original calling: bringing people together for life's important moments in an authentic Norman setting, less than two hours from the Paris region.

The story of the place: the reunion orchard

In the Norman countryside, orchards are an integral part of the landscape and daily life. Apple, plum, and mirabelle trees mark the seasons, nourish families, and bear witness to shared moments.

The name La Huguenoterie itself carries a memory: it evokes the Huguenots who once gathered in this region, deeply attached to their roots and land. Transmission, hospitality, and gathering are values deeply rooted in the history of the place, and they still resonate today in every event hosted at the estate.

A transition towards a group identity

With the expansion of our vision and the integration of new venues within Domaines & événements, we have evolved our visual identity. Our objective was twofold:

• To unify the logos of the different estates to reflect a common affiliation.
• To preserve the soul and uniqueness of each venue.

This evolution marks an important step in our desire to establish a clear graphic lineage between Domaines & événements and each of its estates.

The new logos: graphic harmony

La Huguenoterie has always been known for its warm, authentic atmosphere, deeply rooted in the Norman countryside. Its new monogram continues this tradition, drawing inspiration directly from one of the estate's most emblematic elements: the large tree that dominates the main courtyard.

Having stood for many years, this majestic tree has accompanied the life of the estate through seasons and generations. A true visual and emotional landmark, it alone embodies the spirit of La Huguenoterie: a vibrant, welcoming place, rooted in its land and focused on shared moments.

The inclusion of this tree in the monogram is therefore no coincidence. It symbolizes stability, heritage, and the omnipresent nature that characterizes the estate. Like a discreet signature, it tells the story of the place while strengthening its unique identity.

The estate logos

• The standardized term « Domaine »: presented in typed characters, it evokes the typography of « Domaines » in the main logo.
• A handwritten script for each proper name: to preserve the unique character of each estate.
• Tailored colors: each estate has specific variations, chosen to reflect its identity.
• New typefaces: identical for all estates, they reinforce visual consistency.

On July 1, 2021, we inaugurated the Domaine de Vaujoly! A great event that brought together more than 150 people. We thank all our service providers for participating in the inauguration of the Domaine de Vaujoly.
